Oyekola, Oluremi Francis
Managing Partner (CFA, FCA), FCTI)
He is the Managing Partner of the firm and fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. He is also a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation in Nigeria. Remi has extensive experience in project review and due diligence investigations, business process re-engineering. He has led many due diligence and investigations assignments for various companies. Remi, a valued member of our audit team, has been in professional practice for over 30 years and possesses vast experience and a unique approach to audit, investigation, tax planning and expatriate tax advisory. He has facilitated seminar programs in ICAN, CITN and Lawyers forums in the country.
Remi completed his M.Sc. in Accounting from the University of Lagos and his Research work is on Impact of Auditing Standards on Auditors’ Performance in Nigeria. In addition, he is a certified Forensic Accountant of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (ICAN).
He trained with Ernst & Young, rose to become Head of Tax Department before he resigned in March 2002 to set up Remi Oyekola & Co. which has now metamorphosed to OAK Chartered Accountants.
Kofoworola, Joseph Sunday
Partner (FCA, ACTI, ACIB)
He is one of the Partners of the firm. He has his first degree in Accounting at the University of Lagos. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and Associates of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria. He has had a wealth of experience in banking where he worked for several years before joining our team as Partner. While at the bank, he attended various internal and external courses which have become beneficial for present tasks. He has since been handling tax issues for the firm’s clients and has successfully handled tax consulting matters for clients in diverse industry spheres such as Oil & Gas, Agriculture, Manufacturing, Merchandising, Banks and other services.
Ajao Ebenezer Adewale
Partner (CISA, FCA, IFRS – ACCA, London)
Wale is an accounting education graduate of Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye. A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. He is a Certified Information Systems Auditor with certificate of proficiency in CAAT. His work experience in accounting and auditing spanning over 25 years has exposed him to diverse jobs and tasks including statutory and private audits, investigations and consulting. His wealth of experience covering government, manufacturing, oil, and gas, and banking sectors of the economy.
He is a consultant – Business Trainer to Abt Associates Inc. (USAID) on Nigeria SHOPS SPSFP/RH Project. Wale is also a consultant to Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) on post-examination monitoring of microfinance banks.
Before joining OAK Chartered Accountants as Partner, Assurance Services, Wale was a partner with Osunbade, Okiti & Co. (a member of BKR International). He was part of the team that developed uniform accounting code for the federal universities in 2007.
Wale has taught at various levels of academics and professional studies in many centers in Lagos.
